We provide a professional design and quotation service. Many companies that actively promote free design are actually unable to provide the same level of assistance as us. We do not charge directly for our service – but release all designs, plans and quotation only upon agreement and contract to proceed with the kitchen project. This way we can ensure that you are given accurate information.
Remember a free design and quotation service may well be only what it says.
We supply all sorts of kitchens, so the answer depends on many variables but roughly you should budget for a minimum of £2,000 to £12,000 for a quality kitchen, plus worksurfaces, appliances and installation costs.
We prefer to work locally around Essex, generally within a 25 mile radius of Colchester. This is to give the best possible service to our clients.
So a few often overlooked tips on helping keep the cost down :
Distinguish between your needs and wants.
Being practical will result in less compromise.
Plan to do some work yourself.
Remove existing units and worksurfaces / take up old flooring /
handle rubbish removal during fitting / Undertake all painting or wallpapering yourself.
But we do recommend leaving the following to the tradesmen :
- Services work – electrical gas or plumbing
- Appliance installation
- Kitchen and worksurface fitting
Consider the location of existing service points.
when planning the kitchen to avoid unnecessary re-wiring or re-plumbing
